About us

CPRE Cornwall is a local independent charity, and our policies and objectives aim to protect rural Cornwall and all of its special characteristics.
We are financially independent, but we liaise and work with the national Countryside Charity (formerly CPRE) on matters of common interest. We share the Countryside Charity logo, but our policies and purposes may sometimes differ because we are focused on the unique needs of rural Cornwall. Our imperative is to care for and protect Cornwall’s countryside and rural way of life.

If you require assistance with a planning case, we may be able to provide help or advice. You do not need to be a member or a donor, but your support as either would help us to do this more effectively, for you or anyone else who is in need of help.
