Join us for a free farm walk and talk hosted by Trink Dairy owner Chris Knowles.
Trink is an important driver of the food supply chain in west Cornwall, supplying local businesses. At this event you will learn about the practical impact of climate change on a dairy farm of 300 cows in west Cornwall’s AONB, on the edge of an SSSI, and how the farm works with bodies such as Landscape Cornwall and Natural England in implementing a landscape recovery plan while maintaining and encouraging access to healthy food and the countryside. Issues such as soil quality, climate change and farming economics will be covered and there will be an opportunity to see the milk being bottled.
There is ample free on-site parking on the left at the dairy next to the farm machinery
Refreshments can be purchased in the ‘Made by the Lake’ cafe which is on the other side of the main road to Trink.
