CPRE Cornwall AGM Update
28 July 2014
CPRE Cornwall Annual General Meeting
I am writing to update you on the matters dealt with at our recent Annual General Meeting. Please find here a brief annual report which details the organisations’ recent successes as well as our plans for the future, it also gives an account of the finances since the EGM in December.
I am pleased to tell you that the current set of trustees were re-elected en bloc for the following year, to confirm:
Chair: Harold Tinworth
Vice Chair 1: Stephanie Kelly
Vice chair 2: Orlando Kimber
Secretary: Robert Morcumb
Treasurer: Nigel Cooper
Membership Secretary: Paul Wiley
Full minutes from the AGM can be found here.
During the meeting it was decided to hold the next AGM in October 2015, allowing us to possibly repeat a conference in the Spring and then hold the AGM in conjunction with, say, a guest speaker in the Autumn.
After the formal conclusion of the meeting we heard from Lord Matthew Taylor on the proposed development at Higher Newham Farm on the outskirts of Truro. The highly unusual proposal has many unique elements and the trustees will keep a close eye on this as it develops and goes through the application process.
If you would like to receive more information on anything mentioned here or in the attachments please do not hesitate to contact me.
