Join us in standing up for the countryside

Member and Guest Activities

We have two events planned in the remainder of this year, although others may appear!

On Thursday 19th July at 2pm, we have a visit to Lighterage Quay in the historic Port of Truro, to see construction of the 68 ft replica of the Falmouth pilot cutter Pellew. There will be a talk from the founder of this extraordinary enterprise and an opportunity to see the woodworking and shipwright crafts in action, which at one point we had thought had gone for ever.

Please book by phone or text on 07880790700

On Saturday 22nd September CPRE Cornwall and the Cornish Ramblers Association have joined forces to organise a walk along the upper reaches of the River Fowey, which starts in some truly beautiful country near Bodmin. For the hardy and experienced it will be an all day walk. For those who want to stroll and take it easy the morning will probably be sufficient, followed by the inevitable pub lunch.  There may be a few, in fact your Chairman can think of several, who may just turn up for the lunch…

More details of this will be published shortly on the web site but if you would like to register your interest, please phone or text on 07880790700
