Local Plan update and Gypsy and Travelling Communities Site Allocations
Cornwall Council’s preparations for the Local Plan are ongoing with the public examination due to re-start at 2pm on Monday 16 May 2016 at the Atlantic Hotel, Dane Road, Newquay. The examination is open to observers, so get yourself along if you want to see what it’s all about in person
As part of this process, Cornwall Council is preparing a Gypsy and Travelling Communities Site Allocations Development Plan Document (DPD). The aim of this is to identify sites across Cornwall that are deemed suitable to provide accommodation for different Travelling communities.
The Scoping Report is the first part of the process to deliver the Gypsy and Travelling Communities Site Allocations Plan, which will sit alongside the Local Plan itself.
